What do I need to do to subscribe?
Setting up a Tusitawi subscription for your child is easy! Just follow these steps:
1. Click the ‘Shop’ button on the top taskbar.
2. Choose the length of your subscription – 1 month, 4 months, or 1 year.
3. Enter your child’s name and grade.
4. Click the gold ‘Checkout’ button at the bottom of the cart page.
5. Enter your payment information.
6. Login to Tusitawi and start learning!

How do I sign up more than one child?
Because you enter the child’s name and grade information each time you choose a new subscription, to sign up another child, return to the Tusitawi.com shop and select a new subscription. You can choose ‘Continue Shopping’ on the cart page, or click the ‘Shop’ button on the top taskbar, to return to the shop. Do this instead of Step 4 in the question above. When you’ve selected subscriptions for all your children, then click the ‘Checkout’ button.

We can offer custom signup options and special rates for groups of 15 or more students.

How do I create a secure password?
We recommend using a password 8 or more characters in length, and including letters, numbers, and special symbols. Of course, be sure to choose a password you can remember!

If you want to choose a password your children can remember and enter by themselves, Tusitawi will accept less complex passwords. The minimum length for a password is 4 characters.

We take all reasonable measures to secure your personal data. As part of that effort, we ask you to practice good password security. Do not write down your password, or share it with anyone who isn’t supposed to be using your account. Be aware that no-one who works for Learning for Humanity’s will ever ask you for your password.

I have more than one child signed up for Tusitawi. How can they all login at once?
Different children can login to their unique Tusitawi classroom accounts at different times from the same device with no problem. If all your children want to use the Tusitawi classroom at the same time, obviously they’ll all need different devices to use! You will have to login to your Tusitawi.com account on each device, and login to each child’s unique Tusitawi classroom from there.

We are developing new features which will allow children to login to their Tusitawi classrooms directly, without going through your Tusitawi.com account. Once this feature is safe and secure for your children to use, we’ll be excited to share it with you!

Can I keep my child’s subscription after it runs out?
Yes! When a subscription expires or is cancelled, all information regarding that subscription will stay in the ‘Subscriptions’ tab of your Tusitawi.com account. If you later renew the subscription, you’ll have all the same information there.

When does my Tusitawi.com account expire?
It doesn’t! Once you’ve created an account on Tusitawi.com, you will always be able to login. Only purchased subscriptions expire.

How do I cancel a recurring subscription?
You can cancel any subscription by going to the Subscriptions tab of your account, clicking ‘View’, and choosing ‘Cancel’ under Actions.

I let my child’s subscription expire. Can I sign them back up, and keep their notes and records?
Yes! When a child’s subscription expires, the child’s account in the Tusitawi classroom is marked ‘inactive’, but nothing about the account is deleted. If you later renew that child’s subscription, they will keep all their notes and records.

I can’t login to my Tusitawi.com account.
Double-check that you are using the correct email and password. The email address for your Tusitawi.com account will be the same address that received the confirmation email when you first signed up. Your password will also be in that confirmation email.
If you’ve deleted the email or changed your password and now can’t remember it, please go to ‘Lost your password’ and follow the directions there.

My child can’t login to their Tusitawi classroom.
Confirm that your child’s subscription is active. If it has been cancelled or expired, you will have to renew it. You can renew a cancelled subscription by going to the Subscriptions tab of your account, clicking ‘View’, and choosing ‘Resubscribe’ under Actions.

If your child’s account is active and they cannot login, Tusitawi.net may be down. Wait fifteen minutes, then clear your browser’s cache (go to https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/ and follow the directions for your browser) and attempt to login again.

How do I change my child’s grades?
Login to your Tusitawi.com account and go to the ‘Manage Students’ tab. Click ‘Edit’ on the account of the child whose grade you wish to change. Note that you can only change your child’s grade up to three times per subscription period.
